With nine games of the league stage to go, time is running out for many sides to make a dash for the top four places and a spot in the semi-finals. That could not be any more relevant than for Border who are yet to post a point in the table but wins in their final three games could well see them sneak into the top four.
South Western Districts showed the value of what one win can bring to the table after their victory in their last game now sees them in fifth and ready to pounce on any slip up from the four teams above them!
At the famous Buffalo Park, this should be an excellent contest with both teams desperate for the win and going for it from the first ball to the last.

When chasing 159 for victory and your number three batter makes 64 runs from 37 balls, any T20 side should be in a good position to win the game. However, Border were unable to do so in their last match against Northern Cape and instead succumbed to their fourth successive defeat.
The truth is, they had already let their best chance of victory slip away when they were in the field after at one stage having Northern Cape at 105/8 before letting them post 158/8 from their 20 overs. If Border can get South Western Districts eight down at a similar stage in this match then they have to bowl them out. Pacer Nico van Zyl took 5/9 in the last match after 2/22 in the previous game and he will be the main threat.
With the bat, everyone knows that Marco Marais is an excellent performer and he needs to back up his 64 against Northern Cape with another big score and hope some of his team-mates can go with him as they search for that elusive victory.

Chasing 154 to claim their first win of this year's tournament, South Western Districts got over the line with six wickets and five balls to spare in Match 10 against KwaZulu-Natal Inland. The challenge now for Yaseen Valli's side is for them to back that result up with another victory to make it two wins in a row.
If they are to achieve that then they will need four of the top five to step up once again with the bat. In Match 10, opener Keenan Vieira was dismissed for a two-ball duck but 25 from Valli, 24 from Kyle Jacobs, 36 from George Van Heerden and 58 not out from Heath Richards proved the difference.
With the ball, South Western Districts will be looking to Jacobs (3/27) and Sintu Majeza (2/12) to do the damage once again.

The weather forecast is for a glorious day at Buffalo Park, East London with the temperature rapidly rising from 15 degrees at 07:00 all the way up to double that come the start of the game at 14:00 local time. Throughout the match, the heat will keep coming and won't drop below 28 degrees.
Buffalo Park in East London is a famous ground which often delivers an excellent contest between bat and ball. Wickets often fall but runs equally come at a quick rate and it often comes down to which team is able to get one of their batters to a score of 60-70+. A par total will be around 175.
This is the second game to be played at Buffalo Park during this season's competition and the first match saw Limpopo bat first and beat Border by 22 runs. Whoever wins the toss, we expect the call to be to bat first in this game.
Although both Border and South Western Districts got off to very poor starts in the tournament, it was SWD who managed to get their first win of the campaign in their last contest. They will come into this game with plenty of confidence so we are backing them to make it two wins out of two in this fixture.
We are backing South Western Districts to win!
