This tournament has certainly caught the eye in Australia with the Women's T20 World Cup taking place in a different time zone and the Sheffield Shield providing red ball entertainment.
As a result, there is a gap in the schedules and this competition has been able to not only fill it but fill it with some top level cricket and exciting competitive games.
We expect this contest to perhaps be one of the closest yet and the winner of this match can consider themselves to be in pole position for the rest of the T20 Spring Challenge.
ACT will take some beating but if there is any team who can push them closer than others have done so far, then it is Brisbane Heat.

No team has been able to stop Australian Capital Territory as yet in this tournament and Melbourne Stars became the latest team to try and fail although they got off to a brilliant start when Paris Bowdler was bowled from the first ball of the game!
But ACT have plenty of expert batting in their top four and it was Shivani Mehta (40) and captain Carly Leeson (68 not out from 47 balls) who were able to more than steady the ship and put the side into a position from where they could win.
That said, the bowlers only had a target of 148 to defend and needed to be at their best. Confidence will be very high for the bowling attack ahead of this game after all five of the unit picked up one wicket with Grace Dignam (3/16) and Holly Ferling (3/25) standing out.

Brisbane Heat were very close to making it two wins out of two and were only lost by three runs to Sydney Sixers in Match Seven in North Sydney on Saturday. It was a lack of lower order runs which saw Brisbane Heat come up short and so they may find themselves looking to their top order batters to produce the goods once again in this game.
Against Sydney Sixers, it was captain, keeper and opener Georgia Redmayne who top scored with 41 runs from 31 balls and it would be no surprise to see her hit the most boundaries for Brisbane Heat again in this game. Mikayla Wrigley and WBBL veteran Nicola Hancock both hit useful runs down the order in the last match and could be pushed up for this fixture.
With the ball, Hancock has already picked up three wickets in this campaign and opener Sianna Ginger also caught the eye against the Sixers with 2/27.

Rain is forecast in Sydney from mid-afternoon onwards but we expect this game to conclude before those showers arrive. There will be plenty of cloud around during this match and humidity will be over 50% from start to finish of this fixture.
We expect a bit of life from this pitch at this early stage of the season at the Allan Border Oval but, as with most surfaces in Australia, this will be a good batting wicket. Whoever bats first will be looking to hit around 150 to be competitive.
With the overhead conditions likely to the bowling side, we predict that both captains will want to field first in this game. That will also give them the opportunity to get ahead of the required run-rate if rain were to interrupt the second innings of the match.
No team has been able to stop Australian Capital Territory so far in this campaign and we expect that to continue in this clash. Brisbane Heat will certainly give them a good game but we are predicting a third win from three matches for Australian Capital Territory.
