Mysore Warriors will take on Bengaluru Blasters as they look to continue their winning run. While the Warriors will carry the winning momentum from their recent matches, the Blasters haven’t quite had a good season so far.
Bengaluru Blasters lost their first three games on the trot and in their last match, they picked just 3 wickets while bowling first and conceded 194 runs. This was the second time in the last three matches that the Blasters conceded 190+ runs bowling first.
It looks like the Warriors have the upper hand in this contest given their batting consistency and the lack of form in the Blasters’ camp.
However, the pitch is still great for scoring runs and that keeps both teams pretty much in the contest. Neither of these two teams has a threatening bowling attack and the batters in both sides should be excited to go out there and make the most of these conditions.

Bengaluru Blasters have suffered a batting collapse in every single match including their recent run-chase against Mangalore. Blasters lost 3 wickets for 34 runs in the powerplay while chasing a 194-run target.
And just before that game, they were bowled out for 105 runs batting first against Hubli Tigers. Mayank Agarwal has been very inconsistent and though he scored a fifty in that match against Hubli, he has two ducks from the last three innings.
There have been no consistent batters in the Blasters’ lineup who they could look up to for leading the comeback in this game. Pavan Deshpande and Suraj Ahuja are key players in the middle order. And partnerships from these two will be necessary if Bengaluru Blasters are to chase or set a big target.
Dega Nischal came in at number 3 in the last game, replacing Jeswath Acharya, and scored 61 off 43 balls.
Shubhang Hegde and Aashish Mahesh can also make crucial contributions lower down the order. But without any significant partnerships at the top, the lower order’s effort will be in vain.
The bowlers are struggling to find wickets and if the batters also fail to get going on such a great batting track, Bengaluru Blasters will be staring at yet another loss.
Shubhang Hegde and Sarfaraz Ashraf have shown promise in the bowling department and will be key to a comeback from the Blasters.

Mysore Warriors are back to winning ways with two consecutive wins after a losing start to their campaign. They’ve scored 190, 198, and 201 in their last three outings while batting first.
After the bowlers failed to defend 201 against Mangalore Dragons, they bounced back quickly in the next game and secured a 54-run win while defending 198 runs.
There is great variety in this bowling attack and the skipper has used up to 8 bowling options in recent games. While the bowling returns haven’t been very consistent on an individual level, as a unit, the Warriors have managed to put the opposition on the back foot.
Considering the conditions at this venue, it will be up to the batters to give Mysore Warriors an advantage in the contest. Karun Nair, who’s scored two consecutive fifties at number 3 will be a key batter in the top order.
Openers Karthik CA and Samarth R have also made crucial contributions at the top but have failed to strike a big partnership together. All-rounder Jagadeesh Suchith and Manoj Bhandage are also in good touch in the middle order.
While they haven’t made a big score but have surely carried the momentum of the innings ensuring their side posts a competitive total on board.

Even after 12 games, the pitch is still great for batting. They’ve probably switched between multiple tracks for different games and made sure the pitch is fresh and true to its nature. There will be scattered thunderstorms in Bengaluru on the match day with a high of 27 degrees Celsius.
The only venue for this tournament is the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The average 1st innings score here in domestic T20s is 165 runs. That goes to show that a match-winning total would be quite high. With a solid, deep batting lineup with in-form match-finishers, even a 185-190 total can be easily chased down.
Considering the bowling form of both teams, we reckon they would find it difficult to defend a score. They haven’t got bowlers who are consistent with their economies. The smaller dimensions of the ground and the pitch conditions make it a great venue for batting and chasing would be preferred by both captains.
Mysore Warriors are a superior side considering their current form in contrast to the recent performances from Bengaluru Blasters. Apart from a couple of bowlers, there is no other player in the Blasters’ squad who’s been consistent and reliable. Warriors, on the other hand, have found their rhythm with the bat and there are some reliable players in the top and middle order to do a fine job.
Mysore Warriors have the upper hand in this contest and will start as favorites in our match prediction.
