Guyana Amazon Warriors will take on the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots for the second time this season. They defeated the Patriots by 65 runs in their last encounter and ed a 34-run win in the very next game against Jamaica.
SNP have lost back-to-back matches and will be keen on securing their first win of the season. It looks like an uphill battle given their bowlers are struggling to pick wickets.
After failing to chase against Guyana, the Patriots went on to score 197 and 178 runs batting first in the next two games. Bowlers failed to create any pressure on the opposition while defending a competitive total.
Though the Warriors suffered a batting collapse in their last match, they will be happy with the effort from their lower order in resurrecting the innings. From 76-4 in the 9.1 Overs to 210-7 in 20 Overs was a brilliant comeback from Guyana.

Imran Tahir is leading the Warriors this season and they’ve been impressive under his leadership so far. First, they bowled out the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots for just 132 runs while defending a 197-run total. And then reduced Jamaica Tallawahs to 13-4 while defending 210 in the last game.
Though the Tallawahs bounced back with a 97-run stand for the 6th wicket, Tahir’s men ensured they won by a comfortable margin in the end. Tahir himself has been expensive with the ball but he’s got many options in the bowling attack.
Romario Shepherd and Junior Sinclair will be the ones to watch out for in the bowling department. They’ve also got all-rounder Keemo Paul who delivered with the bat in the last match.
Paul scored 57 off 29 balls at number 6 which included 7 sixes and a four. The top 4 of this batting lineup is pretty solid with Saim Ayub, Hazratullah Zazai, Shai Hope, and Azam Khan.
There is a good mixture of batting styles, approaches, and experience. Shimron Hetmyer at number 5 is a key player who can finish the innings for the Warriors.
The batting lineup is very deep with Romario Shepherd and Dwaine Pretorius coming in at 7 and 8. Guyana Amazon Warriors have a strong overall squad with in-form players in every department.

The captaincy changed hands in the last match as Sherfane Rutherford took over the job from Evin Lewis in the last match. The new skipper scored an unbeaten 62 off 38 balls at number 5 taking SNP to a 178-run 1st innings score.
While Andre Fletcher also got off to a good start, Evin Lewis seemed to be struggling to score runs. Fletcher looks more promising at the top as an opener and will be a key player to watch out for.
Corbin Bosch once again stepped up with a handy knock at number 6 helping SNP finish on a good note. After failing to get going in the first few games, Rayudu was dropped from the XI.
Jyd Goolie is another middle-order batsman who’s not looked comfortable at the crease and needs to find his rhythm. Joshua Da Silva is also struggling to find his form and the middle-order of SNP looks vulnerable.
Rutherford is a key player at number 5 for SNP and will be needed to deliver another good performance for SNP to reach a competitive score. There aren’t many reliable batters in this side as of now.
However, the biggest concern for the Patriots will be their bowling attack. Corbin Bosch has been consistent and will be a key player with the ball. But most of the other bowlers in this attack have failed to make an impact.
Blessing Muzarabani and Sheldon Cottrell are back in the side but couldn’t deliver much of an impact.

The pitch is great for batting and will offer even bounce and carry allowing batters to execute their shots with perfection. The bowlers may not find a lot of help but spinners could come into play in the second innings.

Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados is the venue for the second encounter between GAW and SNP this season. It is a high-scoring venue where the team batting first should be looking to score atleast 185 or more runs to stay ahead in the competition.
Considering how SNP have failed to defend even good scores, they would rather choose to bowl first and chase a total on this wicket. Guyana are also in great touch with the bat and have the depth and the ability to chase down a target.
There are no signs of any comeback from the Patriots with an out-of-form bowling attack and an inconsistent batting lineup. Guayana Amazon Warriors, on the other hand, are coming in with back-to-back wins where they were exceptions with both bat and ball.
Guyana, with a brilliant bowling attack and a deep batting lineup, will have the upper hand going into this match and will start as our favorites.
