Tom Kohler-Core has been impressing in white ball cricket for many years and it was no surprise to see his name up in lights whilst beginning the tournament with an unbeaten half-century on Wednesday. There was also an impressive first game performance from Tom Abell who hit 33 not out from 19 balls and he looks like he has the game to impress in this format.

With the ball, David Wiese is likely to lead the way and will find pace and bounce if there is any to be found. The real bowling star from Wednesday's performance for Jaffna Titans was Treveen Mathew who returned figures of 4/10 from his 2 overs! He will no doubt be a threat once again and is likely to be well backed up by Pramod Madushan.

Angelo Mathews won the toss in Match 2 but all he had to show for it was 6 overs in the field and a no result. Therefore, the batting line-up for Colombo Jaguars will be raring to go and be hoping to finally get an opportunity to show what they can do when this game gets underway under the lights on Thursday evening.

Kamindu Mendis is one of those batters who will be inpatient to get onto the field and comes into the tournament in fantastic form. Najibullah Zadran is a very reliable big-hitting batter at this level and skipper Angelo Mathews still has all of his match-winning ability.

With the ball, Ali Khan and Dilshan Madushanka should provide an excellent right-arm - left-arm pace option but even bowlers of their ability are likely to struggle in this format!
