Kochi Blue Tigers batters as both openers were dismissed cheaply in a massive 197-run chase. Shaun Rogers then took on the aggressive approach making 45 runs off 34 balls with Sijomon Joseph and Unnikrishnan looking good for their quickfire cameos in the middle order. But, their batting unit lacked firepower to chase the massive total and ended with 157/8 in their 20 overs.
