Lancashire Preview

Keaton Jennings' team did well in their opening game against the Worcestershire Rapids. The side, which was missing many of its key players in the first leg of the tournament, bowled well to win the game by 7 runs. It will be a tougher challenge against the Outlaws, and Jennings will look to lead from the front and take his side to a win.  

Jennings was the top scorer for the team in the last game, and he looks forward to delivering a strong start with Luke Wells. Matthew Hurst missed out on the last game and must build partnerships in the middle order with Michael Jones and Ashton Turner. Chris Green and Jack Blatherwick must add quick runs in the lower middle order.  

The bowling attack looked good in the last game, and they need early wickets from Luke Wood and Chris Green. Thomas Aspinwall used the conditions well in the last game, and he will look to keep the scoring under check in the middle overs with Mitchell Stanley. Luke Wells and Blatherwick add variety to this attack.

Clarke would like a better show from his bowling unit, as they failed to trouble the batters in the last game.  

Joe Clarke led from the front in the last game and will look to deliver a good start with Lyndon James. Jack Haynes' match-winning knock will make him confident. He must build partnerships in the middle order with Moises Henriques and Tom Moores. Matthew Montgomery and Daniel Sams added firepower to this batting lineup and will look to add quick runs.  

The bowling attack struggled with its line and length in the last game. Dillon Pennington and Daniel Sams must get early breakthroughs and put Lancashire under pressure. Conor McKerr, Calvin Harrison, and Henriques will look to bowl tight spells in the middle overs.
