Montreal Tigers Preview

The Tigers continue to dominate their opponents. Chris Lynn’s side defeated the Toronto Nationals by 23 runs in a rain-curtailed game to book a berth in the playoffs. Key players on the side have been in good form. As they play their last game before the playoffs, Lynn would like to win here and build momentum.  

Chris Lynn and Muhammad Waseem have been in good form, and the pair will look to deliver a solid start at the top. Sherfane Rutherford, Dilpreet Singh, and Andre Russell make it a strong middle order and will look to add quick runs. Carlos Brathwaite, Dipendra Airee, and Srimantha Wijeratne add solidity to this batting unit.      

Kaleem Sana has bowled well in the tournament and would like to pick early wickets, sharing the new ball with Carlos Brathwaite. Russell is an experienced bowler and will look to do well in the middle overs with Abbas Afridi. Akif Raja and Dipendra Airee add options to this attack.

Rassie van der Dussen's side has been inconsistent, and they find themselves under tremendous pressure in this game. A loss here will end their prospects of reaching the next round. They had lost to the Tigers earlier by a big margin, and van der Dussen must lead from the front and take his side to a victory.  

The side will need a good start at the top from Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan. Corbin Bosch has played well and must build partnerships in the middle order with Rayyan Pathan and Rassie Van Der Dussen. Harsh Thaker and Najibullah Zadran complete a powerful batting line-up for the team.  

The bowling attack has let the side down in several games, and they need good spells from Corbin Bosch and Muhammad Kamal at the top. Ruben Trumpelmann and Junaid Siddique must bowl good spells in the middle overs, as the Tigers have good hitters in the side.
