New York Strikers Preview

Kieron Pollard's side has stormed into the final with a 41-run win against the Morrisville Samp Army. Their batsmen and bowlers gave a good show that helped the side the big victory. However, Pollard will know Deccan Gladiators' strengths, having lost against them earlier. He would like his players to deliver their best performance in the game.  

Rahmanullah Gurbaz played a match-winning knock in the last game and will look to set up a big stand with Muhammad Waseem. Pollard must do well in the middle order and add runs with Niroshan Dickwella and Asif Ali. Odean Smith, Chundangapoyil Rizwan, and Chamika Karunaratne will look to use the long handle down the order.  

The team will expect a good show with the new ball from Mohammad Amir, who is in great form. He will look to strike early with Akeal Hosein, who will be confident after his 5-wicket haul in the last game. Sunil Narine, Chamika Karunaratne, and Muhammad Jawadullah will look to do well. Nicholas Pooran's side put up an excellent performance in the playoffs. They defeated the Bangla Tigers in the Eliminator, followed by a 28-run win against the Morrisville Samp Army in the 2nd Qualifier. They have big-match players on their side, and Pooran would like to see them do well and earn the third consecutive title.  

Nicholas Pooran and Tom Kohler-Core have batted well at the top, and the side will expect a good show from them. The middle order has good hitters, and they will expect a good show from Imad Wasim, Andre Fletcher, and Andre Russell. Fabian Allen and David Weise add solidity to the lower middle order.  

The bowling attack has been in great shape in the last two games, and the side will like early wickets from Imad Wasim and Fabian Allen. Waqar Salamkheil bowled well in the last game and will look to do the same with Luke Wood. Andre Russell and David Wiese add depth to the attack.
