Oval Invincibles hope to pull off a comfortable success and pick up the title for the second consecutive campaign when they go up against Southern Brave at the Lord’s. This final matchup also witnesses two teams who have been successful in the past. Southern Brave won the title in the first 2021 season, while they will be counting heavily on momentum and the team came away from a difficult match against Birmingham Phoenix by winning in the super over. Oval Invincibles have not been in action since the group stages, which ended in a five-wicket loss to Trent Rockets. This defeat has the potential to disrupt momentum for Oval Invincibles.
The Lord’s in London will play host to the final as in the past three seasons. All previous campaigns have seen very a narrow margin of victories in the final. Southern Brave and Oval Invincibles could be set for another tight final.

The Oval Invincibles have a balanced setup that has provided rich rewards while chasing games in the 2024 season. After a very comfortable group stage that saw them top the group with six wins from the eight matches, Oval Invincibles have the advantage of good rest. In the last two campaigns, teams that came through the eliminator route into the final have not been successful.
Jordan Cox has been in excellent form throughout the season for Oval Invincibles. He has 189 runs from his six innings but Dawid Malan is not far behind with 182 runs from his eight innings. After struggling in the matches at the start of August, Malan has come up with 82 runs in his last two innings.
The Invincibles have been very strong with the ball. Sam Curran has managed 17 wickets from his eight innings and he sits at the top along with Adam Zampa. The latter had very a poor impact against the Trent Rockets. Tom Curran has six wickets in his last two innings with four of them coming against the Brave. However, Zampa and Sam Curran will be the bowlers to watch in this game.
Jordan Cox has scores of 39, 61*, & 46* in his last three innings, he has been the most consistent run-scorer for the Invincibles amassing 189 runs this season. Given his recent form and consistency he is bankable player to bet on for this contest.

Southern Brave are looking to lift the title for the first time since 2021. The omens look good for the Brave, as they had to come through the eliminator to win the title back then. Yet, a string of losses at the hands of Invincibles puts the Brave at a psychological disadvantage.
James Vince has been the leading provider of runs in the campaign. In his 10 matches, Vince has managed 456 runs at an average of 65. Vince has already come close to hitting a century on a few occasions in the Hundred 2024 competition. He had managed a half-century in the last game against the Invincibles. Southern Brave have found it difficult to get runs from other players with Kieron Pollard coming a distant second in the squad with his 157 runs from six innings. Pollard has especially struggled in the last two games.
Tymal Mills is the second top wicket-taker in the 2024 campaign with 16 from his nine innings. He has been among the wickets of late with five from his last two matches – including three against Birmingham Phoenix on August 17th. Southern Brave struggled with the ball against Invincibles in the recent match.
James Vince has been in phenomenal form this season, notching up scores of 43, 19, 29, 52, and 73*, in his last five innings. In his previous encounter against the Birmingham Phoenix in the league stage, he scored 52 runs in 39 balls at The Oval. His recent form and consistency make hims a reliable player to bet on to score 22.5 runs in today's final.

The pitch at the Lord’s will be favourable to bowlers. The average total match score in the four matches played at Lord's, London this season is 243 runs, with no match exceeding 265 runs. The pitch favors bowlers, and both teams possess strong bowling lineups. Expect another low-scoring encounter.
Lord’s has favoured teams batting second in 75% of the matches this season. The teams batting second have won the game in three out of the four matches. The toss winner in the final is likely to choose fielding first. Oval Invincibles have an excellent record when batting second with big wins over Birmingham Phoenix and Southern Brave.
Oval Invincibles might have had a losing finish to the group stages but they have had plenty of time to prepare for this game. Southern Brave have lost in three consecutive meetings with the Oval Invincibles, who have players like Jordan Cox and Sam Curran in outstanding form.
