South Africa Emerging Preview

South Africa Emerging Players are on a roll with back-to-back wins and will be looking to extend their winning run. They are in red-hot form and have been dominating every aspect of the game.

They got off to a losing start to the tournament with two consecutive losses but then bounced back with a bang. Skipper Ronan Hernann scored 120 runs at number 3 batting first against Eastern Storm. Later, the bowlers bundled up Storm for 132 runs while defending a 362-run total.

That win announced the arrival of the Emerging Players in the tournament. They followed it up with another impressive batting performance as they chased down a 275-run target in the next game. 

Lhuan-dre Pretorius missed his hundred by 3 runs as he led the run chase at the top of the batting order. Richard Seletswane is a key player who didn’t feature in the side in the last game but has scored two back-to-back fifties in his last two outings.

There have been a lot of changes to the top order with Modiri Litheko opening for the last two matches along with Ethan John Cunningham who was dropped from the side after scoring 65 runs against Eastern Storm.

Limpopo Impalas Preview

Limpopo should be confident coming into this match. They ed a convincing win against the Rhinos with their skipper playing a great knock of unbeaten 53 off 26 balls at number 5.

Ruan Haasbroek is not only crucial at number 5 but is also a good captain as he showcased in the previous win where his team successfully defended 236 runs at the Buffalo Park in East London.

He has now scored two back-to-back fifties in the lower middle order and is a key match-finisher to watch out for. Sizwe Masondo and wicket-keeper batsman Sello Seing are other reliable players lower down the order.

With consistent performances from the middle and lower order and now opener Ludwig Kaestner and number 3 bat Louren Steenkamp finding their rhythm, Limpopo will be stronger than before.

They will be now all set to pose a tough challenge to the SAEP juggernaut. Don Radebe has been consistent with the ball and will be a key player to watch out for.
