Chepauk Super Gillies Preview

Chepauk Super Gillies started their TNPL 2025 season with a bang, taking down IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans by 8 wickets in their season opener by chasing down a target of 174 in just 16 overs.

Captain Baba Aparajith led the way in the chase with a stylish unbeaten 77 off 48 balls. He was ably ed by RS Mokit Hariharan (46 off 22) and Vijay Shankar (41* off 23).

This is a strong batting unit, which also features N Jagadeesan, their top scorer last season with 245 runs across eight innings, averaging 40.83 with a strike rate of 138.41.
