Seattle Orcas Preview
Although Seattle Orcas struggled in the 2024 edition of the MLC, they have put together an impressive squad for this year's tournament and they will fancy their chances of beginning with a win on Saturday night in Oakland.
Batting wise, they have plenty of depth in their line-up with Zimbabwe international all-rounder Sikandar Raza, one of the most competent lower order batters in franchise cricket, due to come in at number seven.
Further up the order, David Warner will set the tone with the power hitters of Kyle Mayers, captain Heinrich Klaasen and Shimron Hetmyer all ready to bludgeon the opposition bowlers.
Obed McCoy, the tall and fast left-arm bowler will cause problems, as will the spin of Raza and the left-arm wrist spin of Waqar Salamkheil.
